JC Wins 1st PA Tournament, ever.......
In a weather altered event reduced to a 6 team round robin event, John Carroll managed to finish 90 points ahead of the field in the Octararo Invitational, in Atglen, PA. Individually, the Patriots crowned champions Devin Davis (113); George Weber (145); Chris Almony (152) and Hunter Ritter (160). Other finalists were Steven Jernigan (120); Scott Strappelli (138) and Rapheal Oduok (220). Other placers were: Zach Dwyer (3rd at 106); Artie Milner (4th at 126); Chris Scott (4th at 132) and Jay Etkins (3rd at 182)
The team standings were as follows: John Carroll 199; Wallenpaupack 109; Upper Moreland 106; Neshaminy 100; Penncrest 88.5; Octararo 65
Gold Team Takes Cecil Coutnty Tri-meet....
An assortment of varsity and jr varsity wrestlers made up a team to compete in a tri-meet against Perryville and Northeast last Friday. The results were: JC 55 Perryville 21 and JC 57 Northeast 15. Double winners were: CJ Skokwoski (106); Mark Pickett (113); Scott Strappelli (138); Chris Almony (145); Ben Swanson (152); Zack Donato (160/170); Dan Kelble (195)
