Venazi Wins Fall Brawl
Freshman, Philip Venanzi won the 140 lb weight class of the high school division of this past Sunday's Fall Brawl, at Bel Air High School.  The MD State Wrestling Association event featured wrestlers from all across the state.  On the way to the tournament title, Phillip recorded 2 falls and a major decision!
 
George Weber Shines At Super 32
Junior, George Weber traveled to Greensboro, NC to compete in the Pre-Season Nationals, aka,  The Super 32.  It is reported that 1560 wrestlers from across the nation competed in the event.  126 wrestlers entered the 132 lb weight class along with George.  George made it to the round of 16, before losing 3-2 on a last second takedown, to the Sophomore National's Champion.  In all, Weber won 4 matches, along the way pinning California's #3 ranked wrestler.
 
Practices Start Nov 7th
JC Wrestling starts conditioning practices in preparation for weight certification on Nov 13 at 2pm.  Regular practices begin on Nov 12th and there's a Parent's Meeting at 10:00 as well
