Waters takes 2nd at Messiah 
Senior Lance Waters ended his official visit at Messiah College Saturday with a 2nd place finish in their tournament.  Wrestling up a weight, Lance lost in OT to a former teammate from Messiah's wrestling camp, Zach "Snowball" Snow, a very talented PA wrestler.
 
Miele Marches On
Thanks to a 170 yd performance this past Friday by Kyle Miele, JC was able to bring it's seaon record to 3-2.  Thanks partially to Rob Clingerman's people moving ability, Kyle has rolled up 780 in 5 games this season.  Alex Barbara had a touchdown saving tackle in the 4th quater to limit St Francis to a one touchdown night
 
Patriot JV Football Spanks Mt St Joe
Led by quarterback, Brandon Lewis, the Patriot JV Football team hammered out a 28-0 win over "A" conference opponet Mt St Joseph.  Contributing to the fine offensive performance were Gus Lane and Amir Parker.  Leading the defense was Dan "Kibbles" Kelble and Chris Truitt.

JC To Host MD Wrestling Day Oct 23rd
The MD State Wrestling Association has chosen JC to run this year's 'celebration of all things wrestling'.  The event will start with an 'open' tournament then transition into instructional sessions for wrestlers and coaches...then finish with 5 feature matches, pitting some of MD's best high school wrestlers against each other, including 4 nationally ranked wrestlers.  Patriot grapplers, Mathew Miller, George Weber and Scott Strappelli are featured. 
 
Webster Brothers help Randolph Macon Football Stay Undefeated
JC Wrestling Alumni brothers, Matt and Tim Webster have helped Yellowjackets to a 6-0 record.  Tim is a senior, Defensive End.  Matt is a junior, Cornerback.  Both were integral parts of JC wrestling success.
 
JC Wrestlers at the Warrior Dash
This past Sunday, 2 former JC Wrestlers and one current wrestler competed in the 'strangest race on two feet'.  The "Dash" is a 4 mile obstacle course set in Quarryville, PA
Former JC Wrestling standout, Dean Roberts (JC '04) was our top placer (43/448)....followed by Nate Albright (JC 99) and Alex Burdeshaw (JC 12)

Parent Meeting Oct 18
There'll be a brief Parent's Meeting in the Brown Room, next Monday at 6:00
